Roller Core Preparation is arguably the Key Component within the Roller Building process. Without a clean and prepared surface then the danger of de-bonding increases dramatically. Whilst shot-blasting is useful for large, heavy or difficult to handle rollers, Linishing the surface with an Abrasive belt offers an excellent solution. It increases the surface area by creating random scratches / grooves into the core. This is far better than “turning” off rubber and part of the core. The issue with this is that it makes if difficult for the bonding agent to applied evenly. These machines offer the best solutions for your requirements.
